I took this photo at my cousins beach house in Long Beach Island on the New Jersey shoreline. To edit this photo i used the standard picture edit on iPhoto on the standadrd Mac.
Exposure: -0.68
Contrast: 10
Highlights 10.2
Shadow: 36.2 this particular effect really brought out the dock and boat at the bottom of the picture, before there only the outline of them, but takeing away some of the shadow on the boat and dock really helped define them.
Saturation: 59
Tempeture: -21.1 this really brought out the bluness of the sky and sea. It was dificult to decide on which i would focus more on, the warmth of the sunset/skyline, or the blueness of the sky/sea. i chose the sea/sky to emphesize the waves more and also to draw focus on the outstanding red skyline.
