Featured Photographer

Henri Bresson was considered to be ''the father of photojournalism.'' Along with being one of the first photographers to adopt the 35mm film, he aso assisted in the creation of the ''real life reportage'' or more well known as ''street photography.'' This style of photography has been accepted, and used by countless photographers since his time.

This picture was taken by Bresson in Baghdad. I really enjoy and appreciate Bresson's work. I am a huge fan of National Geographic, and the ''street photography'' he helped pioneer has been accepted and used by the magazine, and of the different styles I admire these photos, they seem to spread a part of the world, all around the world.
